Although born in Detroit, UNIQ has lived in New York City and now resides in Pine Hills, Orlando Florida. His diverse background fuels his art. This poetic prodigy combines a strong work ethic with real life experiences and raw street energy. Making his debut on the HIT SQUAD, Zero Tolerance album; he has shared the bill with hip-hop heavyweights such as Redman, Lil' John, MOP, Dead Prez, and others. UNIQ has gained enormous respect from his peers and created a fan base almost as energetic as himself. He is asked to judge open mic battles; otherwise no one else would get the prize money. He is a rare talent, whose diverse spectrum of sound spans both Northern and Southern styles.
